EA’s Dead Space

I hadn't heard of EA's forthcoming Dead Space game until I saw a preview on Spike TV's GameTrailers program.  I was blown away by what I saw, kind of like the moment I first became aware of COD4.  The graphics are awesome, and it looks like a really eerie outer-space survival horror game.  Beyond the action there are some neat zero-gravity puzzles.

Here's one of their latest videos of in-game footage.  I can't get over how great the lighting effects look in various scenes...it's like DOOM3 taken to the next level.
